זה קצת מסובך. כעיקרון מי שמנצח את הגביע האנגלי מקבל כרטיס לליגה האירופית. אבל בגלל שסיטי לקחה כרטיס לצ'פיונס מהליגה אז כאילו "ביזבזו" שני כרטיסים לאירופה על המפעל הזה, וככה קרה שליברפול נשארה בלי כרטיס.

Who is your main rival in england

Tricky that....Our City Rivals are Port Vale, who play in the 3rd Division.Not so long ago we were both in the same lower Division (and some fans forget this...just how we have progressed!) In the Premiership, I would say that we dont have a particular rival. Manchester United are not popular due to some differences in the 1970s.

What can you tell us abput the syle of play of Stoke? i've seen from the games that were broadcast here that you guys play with a very pld style of play: kick and run, and more on the long shots...

Yes we do play some direct football, with Rory Delap & his throw in's being very very popular!We do however have a couple of very good wingers, and also our small and gentle central defenders do score from set peices.If you see any highlights of our Cup Semi Final against Bolton then we can play some very good passing football.The thing is with Stoke City that Tony Pulis always wants his sides to work hard, and that we do!:

Leaving aside the fact that I'm a Gooner (and as opposed to others, I do support Arsenal, I don't 'like' them, I would never be a member at a club I 'like')

 

English fans aren't that impressive.

 

Not Arsenal, Stoke, Chelsea, Liverpool, United, Blackpool or whoever.

 

It only has one reason for it - Chanting.

 

You take a song and chant it instead of signing it therefore the chant is over after a minute or so, that way you can never cheer your team on for 90 minutes.

 

Chanting every minute or so for 30 seconds isn't impressive.

 

It's quite lazy actually - Have a look at Greek and Turkish fans (among others) to see what an impressive fanbase is.

TThink of it like this, you would be worried had you drawn a 'big name' like Aston Villa, or Newcastle United, well, these are both teams that we regularly beat at home, we have beat newcastle away and drawn at Aston Villa away in the last couple of years, maybe we aren't such a big name to you, but we hold our own in one of the best leagues in the world.

 

Apologies to those who have been nothing but respectful, but there seems to be some bad comments towards us, although disguised in your own language, we can see them.

 

Stoke City will respect you, we respected Hajduk Split (who have a far greater pedigree in Europe than either of us) and FC Thun, who beat tottenham in the Champions League a few years ago.

Our chnating is just part of our football tradition, and in general, away fans at every stadium are far more impressive than the home fans, often Stoke fans will sing the whole 90 minutes away from home, this never happens at the Britannia stadium, although sometimes we get close.

 

Trust me, the Stoke fans that go to tel-Aviv will be more impressive to you than our home fans.
